Whether it’s Saturday brunch or Friday night dinner, Le Sawn will not disappoint. The ambiance is eclectic, simple and authentic to its character which can be best described as a Franco-American diner that takes a unique approach to some standard French bistro classics and American diner style staples. The service is always on point, the staff are extremely accommodating and attentive and the small style booth seating make the space easy to manage from a service perspective. Price point and quality stays true the value you receive. Great overall - strongly recommended.

Stumbled upon this because another restaurant nearby we wanted to visit was closed. No regrets at all. It's a small space but people were so nice and friendly. Every single item on the menu was really good. Please try the fluffy omelette, steak and green beans. Very yummy!

It is always a pleasure to eat here. Very good French bistro food with great service. The wine menu is a bit limited but the cocktails are fun, beautiful, and there is something for everyone.Been here several times and have always ordered the platters to share. Great way to share a family style meal. Ordered both platters for four, and it was more than enough delicious food.Would reco this for anyone looking for great French food in a very casual yet beautiful environment

Really enjoyable experience on all dimensions. Everything is so well thought through and it really captures the nostalgia for a local favourite while bringing in such a great approach to the food. I’ve enjoyed both sides of the menu, the cocktail list and the selection of pastis. Highly recommend dropping in and sitting at the bar, the staff are great company without making you feel like you’re intruding or need to be “on”.

The food here is great! We did both the large platters and were not disappointed. The only blip was our bottle of wine didn't come until after a reminder and after the mains showed up. The waitress we had seemed either brand new or just really awkward, but was friendly enough.

Really charming spot.. love the French diner vibe. The food is of course delicious. I’ve tried the steak platter (the green beans are so good!), smoked trout rillette (great start to a meal), Niçoise salad (really liked the raw tuna) and beef cheek Bourguignon (so rich and comforting). Oh, and the service is awesome. Def recommend.

We loved our dinner at Le Swan. Super cozy, great ambiance and perfect service. The cocktail list is curated and everything we tried was delicious. Food was delicious. The steak frites platter was a fun and great for three. The green beans that accompanied the steak and fries were so good! Would love to go back to try the late night fondue.

Great menu with a lot of knocks out of the park. Clean with friendly service. Espresso is wonderful as well. Good atmosphere

This is my favourite place to dine in the city! I ordered the omelette, which was fluffy, airy, cheesy, and divine. And also got a side of green beans. If you're ordering a side, 👏get 👏the 👏green beans. You won't regret it! As for dessert, the chamomile cake is superb; such a unique flavour and its paired with a lemony creme sauce that perfectly compliments the sweet chamomile cake.

Amazing. Had a sandwich and while my expectations of any french food are very high, it exceeded those. Best samdwich ever. Looking forward to returning to try the other remaining on the cozy sized, but well planned menu, especially the milkshakes. Interior has a 50's vibe.

servers are warm friendly and funny. made to feel at home instantly and the food is rich, beautifully prepared, and filling. nice cocktail list and wines too. the atmosphere is everything. cozy booths and lighting. I've been coming here for many years and this latest owner and incarnation is the best of all.

Transport yourself away from the city, and back to the simpler times. Food is impeccable, drinks are great. Although the mains sound humble, they taste exceptional. Don't miss the side of green beans, they're surprisingly perfect. I would go back just for those.

I mean, what can I say, Jen Agg has done an amazing job with this place. Been here a few times but the photos were from the other night. Had to come up with an itinerary for someone who had never been to Toronto and was only here for a day and a half, and this one was unquestionably on the list. Not pictured but much loved: the boozy milkshakes and the melt in your mouth, lets-be-honest-these-are-donuts onion rings.

Food is mouth watering with every bight and pairs perfectly with the wine. The atmosphere is great for a nice dinner with friends or a date night. Make sure to get a reservation though!

I would praise Le Swan for their amazing service and atmosphere. We were taking care of during our dinner very nicely and felt like we could sit there for hours! The food is very reasonably priced, however I wish the quality was better. We paid an extra $10 for fois in our omelette and could barely taste/noice it. Tuna melt was delicious. Would come back!

Everything tasted awesome. They didn't give alot of fries like one would normally see when ordering steak frites but every fry tasted so good for some reason. The service was great.

Simple done right , fantastic charcuterie board love the mix of high and low. Ritz crackers with chicken. Lover mousse to die for. Great omelette! Onion rings so tast .

Funky "French diner" with an interesting mix of food and drinks. Menu is not that diverse but is well suited to the size of the diner. Pricing is moderate value for money. Service was really good.

My girlfriend and I went to Le Swan to celebrate our anniversary and were very happy with the service and quality of the food - all for a very reasonable price. Our dinner consisted of an appetizer of oysters, 2 entrees, 500ml of red wine, and cake. We were also greeted with complimentary champaign because our table had not yet become available when we arrived. Our total bill came to around $150 - extremely reasonable for good quality french food and wine. Despite it's simplicity, the mashed potatoes were exceptional and beat out by the chamomile cake. The rest of the food was also memorable but I would find myself ordering these two things again.The staff was also friendly and our server consistently addressed me using my name after introductions. The atmosphere, food, drink, and service were very good. If you ever want to get your fill on good quality french food for a good price, I highly recommend Le Swan.

Very romatic spot for date night. Select menu, all items are made for sharing, and they are made very well. Would highly recommend to try multiple dishes especially the banana dessert.

Le Swan is a cute little elevated diner bistro. The dishes are comfort food. The ambience is a bit dark but you can get a little light sitting by the table right at the front. It just gets a little hit or cold with its proximity to the door as customers come in and out. Our server was really nice - attentive and happy to give suggestions. The food itself was delicious, but I found the portions (especially the steak) to be a bit small for the price. Otherwise, if you’re looking for comfier food, this is a place to go.

If you're taller than 5'0" and weight more than 100 lbs, don't sit at the bar. Let's just say they were ambitious in fitting as many people as they could into this tiny space. The food was OK, for a tiny relaxed diner, but not OK for the price point they were offering it at. I'd walk over to Oyster Boy next time. Service was good, so there's that.La Palette, a few blocks across Queen will give you a much better taste of a french diner.

Amazing food and the best service. Late-night fondue is out of this world!

Everything at Le Swan is meticulously made. I stared at my steak for a minute straight trying to figure out how they got such an even sear on it. The attention to detail is so impressive, it makes me want to try everything on their menu just to see how they would execute on something as simple as a tuna melt. Cocktails were excellent, and the milk shakes are the best I have ever had. Go if you have the chance, I cannot imagine you will be disappointed.

Had dinner here about a month ago and thoroughly enjoyed it! The ambiance was great - loved the vibe. It was very cozy and truly felt like a French Diner. Our server was very knowledge, friendly, and helpful. I can't wait to go back! Highly recommend the steak frites

Great food, absolutely stellar service. I personally found the french onion soup to be too sweet, as i prefer a more beefy broth, but everything is very well done here, including the cocktails, which are excellent. Book early, from what I understand there is only one table that seats 6+

Expect a French spin to the traditional diner experience. The space was unpretentious and the food was delicious, though very rich as you expect French food to be. The service was amazing. I definitely would love to go back.

Really liked this tiny diner. Simple but excellent menu and excellent service - especially from Jing. Simple green salad was a great surprise. Definitely on our return list!

One of my favourite hidden gems. This French diner is an eclectic masterpiece where decadent tastes meet comfort. I’ve returned several times for both dinner and brunch, and each time I’ve walked away very happy. I personally prefer coming for dinner but I prefer dinner foods in general so that may be why.Their chicken fried steak is a masterpiece and worth the visit.
